Code of Ethics
I carry out all my work with utmost accuracy, where I cannot provide accuracy I will inform the involved parties immediately and/or consult an information resource such
as terminology dictionary.
Every assignment entrusted to me will be subject to absolute confidentiality,
unless specifically authorized by the client I will not discuss, publish, write or tell
of the work I have done to anyone.
If I have a personal limitation with the subject matter of the translation I will inform the client immediately and will reject the assignment prior to starting on It. This also
includes translation and interpreting assignments that involve persons that I have a
personal connection with or whom I know in a close manner.
I will not translate in official matters or situations where a person is
involved that I am related to or friends with, as this will make me biased.
Though I feel I can stay neutral I respect the clients doubt in such a situation.
If an assignment is based on a subject matter that I am not familiar (enough)
with or which exceeds my knowledge on a subject I will inform the client of this
situation and will leave the assignment.
